Softball Recap: Carlson's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

After flying high against Anderson on Wednesday, Carlson came back down to earth. The Marauders fell 9-4 to the Trenton Trojans on Thursday. The Marauders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Carlson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabelle Salas, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base was Salas' first of the season.

Carlson's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Trenton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlson will challenge Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Trenton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverview at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
