Macon-East Montgomery Academy will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Hooper Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Macon-East Montgomery Academy came out on top against Hooper Academy by a score of 45-33 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Powell is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, Lakeside School was not able to break out of their rough patch back in November as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Terrell Academy and fell 54-13.

Macon-East Montgomery Academy pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Lakeside School, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
