After a string of seven wins, Calvary Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out  on Thursday. They fell  36-26 to the Arthur-Okaw Christian Conquering Riders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  46-23  back in December of 2024.
 Arthur-Okaw Christian found their leader in freshman  Avery Herschberger, who  went 7 for 15  en route to 16 points and five  steals. Herschberger's evening made it four games in a row in which  she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Libby Henry, who  posted four  points.
Calvary Christian Academy's defeat  ended  a  seven-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 14-8. As for Arthur-Okaw Christian, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record  this season.
 Calvary Christian Academy will look to defend their home court  on Saturday against Schlarman  at 1:00  p.m. Calvary Christian Academy is facing Schlarman at the right time seeing as Schlarman is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Arthur-Okaw Christian, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Urbana University  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
