Salem Hills won the last time they faced West Field, and Ryder Hales did his part to make sure it happened again. The Skyhawks strolled past the Longhorns with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 33-15 for which the team can thank Hales, who threw for 355 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 39 yards. Hales is crushing it when it comes to passing yards: he's passed for at least 339 every time he's taken the field this season.

Joe Hughes was Hales' top target, picking up 92 receiving yards and one TD. Hughes showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 53 yards.

Although West Field took the loss, they still got scores from Kolt Abbott and Boston Kap.

Salem Hills now has a winning record of 2-1. As for West Field, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Salem Hills will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Timpanogos at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for West Field, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Roy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Longhorns are facing the Royals at the right time seeing as the Royals are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
