Ringgold had lost four straight headed into Monday's contest, but Malayia Johnson didn't let it get to five. The Redskins came out on top against the Gibsland-Coleman Bulldogs by a score of 52-42 on Monday for which the team can thank Johnson, who posted 24 points in addition to five boards and five steals. Her big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 24 points.

Ringgold's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Gibsland-Coleman, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
