The Lennox Academy Panthers lost against the Rolling Hills Prep Huskies back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Lennox Academy took a serious blow against Rolling Hills Prep, falling 85-20. Lennox Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Abraham Silva and Mike Cruz certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Silva scored 12 points, while Cruz scored 6 points. Silva scored a full 60% of Lennox Academy's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Lennox Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rolling Hills Prep, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lennox Academy will take on New Roads at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rolling Hills Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Hamilton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 346 points over their last five matchups.
