The Valley Christian Eagles lost against the Columbiana Clippers back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Valley Christian took a 50-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clippers. Valley Christian has struggled against the Clippers recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Columbiana got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maddox Brown out in front who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Seth Struharik, who scored 12 points.
Valley Christian's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Columbiana, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
Valley Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Indians at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. As for Columbiana, they will be playing at home against the Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
