Volleyball Recap: Oakfield Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Oakfield hadn't done well against Pardeeville recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Oaks came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. The Oaks were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Bulldogs, so the Oaks were just returning the favor.

While Oakfield won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-13.

Oakfield found their leader in sophomore Lily Collien, who had eight digs and two aces.

Oakfield was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matchups.

Oakfield has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Pardeeville, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Oakfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Markesan on the 11th. Pardeeville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
