Having just played yesterday, the Dupo Tigers will get right back to it and host the Sandoval Blackhawks at 6:15 p.m. on February 6th. Dupo is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
On Monday, Dupo was beaten by the Bulldogs 91-26. Dupo has struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as their game on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Sandoval beat the Indians 60-53 on Friday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sandoval to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trayton Adams, who scored 14 points along with two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Adams has scored all season. Armoni Dempsey was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Dupo dropped their record down to 0-18 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.6 points per game. As for Sandoval, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-18.
Dupo took a serious blow against the Blackhawks when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 78-34. Will Dupo have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
