Stuart W. Cramer lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Taelan Whitley, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. DJ Cross was another key contributor, scoring four points.
It was another big night for Issac Byers Jr, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine steals for Ashbrook. Another player making a difference was Ayron Jackson, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Stuart W. Cramer has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Ashbrook, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stuart W. Cramer will take on the Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Forestview focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Friday. As for Ashbrook, they will head out on the road to take on the Huskies at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Huss will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 190th, while the Greenwave are ranked 43rd).
