There's no place like home for the Wellington-Napoleon Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They managed a 67-62 win over Odessa on Thursday. With that victory, Wellington-Napoleon brought their scoring average up to 56 points per game.
Wellington-Napoleon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trotter Hughes led the charge by dropping a double-double on 26 points and 10 rebounds. Haden Terrill was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
The win got Wellington-Napoleon back to even at 1-1. As for Odessa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
