The Anclote Sharks will head out on the road to challenge the Calvary Christian Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anclote is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
Anclote's 18-9 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were outmatched by Fivay on the road and fell 57-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Anclote has suffered since November 29, 2023.
Meanwhile, Calvary Christian didn't have too much trouble with Patel on the road on Friday as they won 35-21. Given Calvary Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while Patel is ranked 321st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Anclote bumped their record down to 2-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.7 points per game. As for Calvary Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
