Payton Shively posted a new career-high in runs on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she scored five runs while going 4-for-4. Perhaps even more impressive was her lead-up to Wednesday's contest, in which she improved her previous run total for three consecutive games.

Looking ahead, Shively and Notre Dame Academy will square off against Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 243 places lower in Ohio), but they're not letting that get them down.
