Skyline hasn't had much luck against Horn recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Skyline will venture away from home to face off against Horn at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Skyline took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with an 11-7 win over DeSoto. The victory was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

| 02/26/25 @ Lake Highlands | 5 |
| 03/04/25 vs Cedar Hill | 4 |
| 03/11/25 @ Lancaster | 2 |
Jaylene Escobedo was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off three hits. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Mikiyah Butts was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-5.
Meanwhile, Horn got the win against Cedar Hill on Friday by a conclusive 18-4. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.
Like Skyline, Horn also got a great game from a two-way player: Hailey Martinez. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. That's the fewest earned runs Martinez has allowed since back in February. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
In other batting news, Horn got a massive performance out of Zoie Armstrong, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with five runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Jasmine Uribe was another key player, going 2-for-5 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and three runs.
Horn kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Skyline's record is now 10-4. As for Horn, their record is now 13-9-1.
Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Skyline has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .455. However, it's not like Horn struggles in that department as they've averaged .438. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Skyline suffered a grim 16-0 defeat to Horn when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Skyline avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
