Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brunswick Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emily King, who scored four points along with 14 rebounds and four steals. Haley Reese was another key contributor, scoring four points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
Brunswick Academy's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Tidewater Academy, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brunswick Academy will face off against Southampton Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tidewater Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot is ranked 325th, while Tidewater Academy is ranked 330th).
