Denver North's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over George Washington. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won four in a row.

Donzio Sanudo was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double. He has become a key player for Denver North: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three hits, but 8-11 otherwise.
Meanwhile, Broomfield got the win against Mead on Saturday by a conclusive 8-1. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
James Varela was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Carter Uran got the start for Broomfield and what a start it was: he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Uran has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Owen Lee, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of JR Ramsey, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Broomfield kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 15 consecutive games.
