The Aspire Ollin Jaguars were the 66-50 winner over the Triumph Charter Jaguars when they last played one another back in February of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. Aspire Ollin's tough 61-36 defeat to Triumph Charter on Saturday might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Aspire Ollin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1325th, while Triumph Charter is ranked 576th).
Triumph Charter found their leader in underclassman Antonio Garcia III, who scored 24 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Garcia III has scored at least 25% of Triumph Charter's points. Joel Zaragoza was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Aspire Ollin will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Downtown Magnets at 2:30 p.m. on January 10th. Downtown Magnets has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
