Lincoln is 4-0 against West Park since January of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Lincoln Fighting Zebras will head out on the road to face off against the West Park Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.
On Saturday, Lincoln earned a 59-52 win over Marysville.
Placer typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday West Park proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 61-49 victory over the Hillmen. The win was all the more spectacular given West Park's disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while Placer is ranked 86th).
Lincoln has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for West Park, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6.
Lincoln didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against West Park in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 58-52 victory. Will Lincoln repeat their success, or does West Park have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
