Lincoln has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the South Kingstown Rebels at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 17 matchups -- so hopefully the Rebels like a good challenge.
Lincoln put the finishing touches on their 14th blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 82-37 victory over St. Raphael Academy. 82 seems to be a good number for Lincoln as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
It was another big night for Camden Dichiara, who scored 33 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Bergeron, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, South Kingstown scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. Everything went their way against Toll Gate as South Kingstown made off with a 81-57 win. The win was nothing new for South Kingstown as they're now sitting on three straight.
Lincoln's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.1 points. As for South Kingstown, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
Lincoln was able to grind out a solid victory over the Rebels when the teams last played back in January of 2023, winning 66-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lincoln since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
