Even though the River Ridge Hawks scored an imposing 57 points on Thursday, the Yelm Tornados still came out on top. Yelm managed a 61-57 victory over the Hawks. That's two games straight that Yelm has won by exactly four points.
Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Telijah Tucker, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tucker has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Wendell, who scored ten points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Yelm and bumps their season record up to 7-11. As for River Ridge, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Yelm does not have any more games scheduled as of now. River Ridge also has no future games currently scheduled.
