The Springbrook Blue Devils will be home for the holidays to greet the Paint Branch Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Springbrook is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
Springbrook pushed their score all the way to 57 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 62-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bethesda-Chevy Chase.
Meanwhile, Paint Branch put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 60-27 win over Northwood at home. Paint Branch might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four matchups by 22 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Jordan Horm, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Lee, who scored nine points.
Springbrook now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Paint Branch, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
Springbrook came out on top in a nail-biter against Paint Branch when the teams last played back in December of 2022, sneaking past 46-43. Will Springbrook repeat their success, or does Paint Branch have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
