Eastmont was forced to take a big defeat against they on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Friday. They blew past the Eisenhower Cadets 15-6. Considering the Wildcats have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Bodie Yale was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Yale was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Eastmont is 4-1 when Yale posts two or more runs, but 3-8 otherwise.
In other batting news, Eastmont got a massive performance out of Max Aman, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs. Aman is becoming a predictor of the Wildcats' success: when he posts at least three RBI the team is undefeated (and 4-9 when he doesn't). Cal Hunter also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.
