If The Jonathan Alder Pioneers were feeling good off their 49-23 takedown of the Tecumseh Arrows last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Jonathan Alder fell to Bishop Ready 14-10. Having soared to a lofty 49 points in the game before, Jonathan Alder couldn't push the score so high this time.
Kentrell Rinehart was his usual excellent self, rushing for 161 yards and a touchdown. Rinehart hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for 11 straight games.
Jonathan Alder's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Bishop Ready, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
Jonathan Alder does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bishop Ready will be playing at home against Indian Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Indian Valley is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
