Valley View is 4-0 against Hemet since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Valley View Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Hemet Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Valley View's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
Even though Hemet scored an imposing 61 points on Monday, Valley View still came out on top. Valley View took their match against Hemet 73-61.
Valley View found their leader in underclassman Charles Knight, who scored 36 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Knight has scored at least a third of Valley View's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maurice Lynch, who scored 18 points.
Valley View pushed their record up to 14-11 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points per game. As for Hemet, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-6.
Valley View beat Hemet 73-61 in their previous matchup on Monday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Valley View since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
