Truckee proved they can win big  last Friday (they won by ten) and  on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Carson Senators  6-5. The  win was nothing new for the Wolverines as they're now sitting on five straight.
Truckee let  Kevin Cabrera and  Logan Arata run wild. Cabrera  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double, while  Arata  scored a  run while going 2-for-4. That's the most  RBI  Cabrera has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Keelan Hyams, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  RBI.
 Truckee was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .417. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .333 or higher in six consecutive  contests.
