Quinter's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kennedy Werth led the charge by scoring 17 points along with 6 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Briggs, who scored 12 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sienna Schmeidler, who scored 10 points. Emma Dinkel was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 9 rebounds.
Quinter's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Victoria, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Quinter will be playing in front of their home fans against Western Plains/Healy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Victoria, they will square off against Osborne at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Osborne and Victoria are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
