Reardan gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Liberty Lancers by a score of 6-1. The Screaming Eagles haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Hunter Flaa made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in earned runs (zero). He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other pitching news, Reardan got a great performance from Tysen Finch as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. That's the fewest hits Finch has allowed since back in March of 2024.
Back at the plate, Colton Lonning was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
