The Louise Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They lost to Bloomington on the road by a decisive 53-38 margin. Louise lost against Bloomington in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 51-27 score last time.
Leading Bloomington to victory were Kenzi Proctor and Khyli Proctor. Proctor scored 21 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks, while Proctor dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Proctor has scored at least 25% of Bloomington's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lizette Castillo, who scored four points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Louise has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Bloomington, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-7.
Louise will take on Shiner at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Shiner will be looking to extend their current 15-game winning streak. As for Bloomington, they will head out on the road to face off against Ganado at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
