If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Hesperia Christian. They will take on TEACH Tech Charter at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. TEACH Tech Charter will need to watch out since Hesperia Christian have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.
Last Friday, Hesperia Christian put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Sherman Oaks CES 44-8. Hesperia Christian's success was spearheaded by the efforts of senior Braydon Hampton, who caught passes for 133 yards and 4 touchdowns, and senior Hunter Dobyns, who passed for 178 yards and 5 touchdowns. In fact, with 16 tackles Hampton was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 40 points the game before, TEACH Tech Charter faltered in their game last Friday. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-44 to Lighthouse Christian.
Hesperia Christian's victory lifted them to 4-0 while TEACH Tech Charter's loss dropped them down to 1-3. We'll find out if Hesperia Christian can add another positive mark to their record or if TEACH Tech Charter can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Hesperia Christian's step.
