The Mira Mesa Marauders will challenge the Canyon Hills Rattlers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mira Mesa will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Mira Mesa is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over Madison on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Brooklyn Haug made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Mira Mesa got a massive performance out of Carla Murguia, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Murguia a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Lao, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Mira Mesa hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 4-2 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Canyon Hills narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Scripps Ranch 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rattlers.
Natalye Debus spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up 11 Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Karalyne Tabada, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Canyon Hills' victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Mira Mesa, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.
Mira Mesa was able to grind out a solid victory over Canyon Hills in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 6-1. Will the Marauders repeat their success, or do the Rattlers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
