Clearfield extended the longest winning streak in Mountain this week by beating Philipsburg-Osceola, 42-7. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Bison.
Tyrone's dynamic duo of Erik Wagner and Charles Wilson-adams proved tough for Penns Valley Area to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Wagner threw for 142 yards and three touchdowns and Wilson-adams had 82 yards receiving. Corey Snyder helped Tyrone's passing attack out by catching two balls for 37 yards.
Christian Lezzer was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 139 yards on six carries as Clearfield bested the Rams. Tyler Stratton also contributed to the rushing game with 55 yards on the ground.
5-foot-10 quarterback Austin Cunningham of Central is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1197. He has also thrown 14 touchdowns. On the ground, Tyrone's James Oliver has rushed for 1575 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Trey Jordan. The Clearfield star has 25 catches for 856 yards.
The Bison's Stratton is a mere 100 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 110 carries Stratton has accumulated 900 yard this year.
The Dragons led Mountain in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on Huntingdon. Bradi Moore threw for 68 yards and two touchdowns, ran for 103 yards and caught one passes for 24 yards in the win.
