Savannah Classical Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Savannah Classical Academy took a serious blow against First Preparatory Christian Academy, falling 81-29. While losing is never fun, Savannah Classical Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 488th, while First Preparatory Christian Academy is ranked 221st).
Meanwhile, Coastal HomeSchool pushed their score all the way to 56 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 61-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of First Assembly Christian Academy.
Savannah Classical Academy's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4. As for Coastal HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
Savannah Classical Academy skirted past Coastal HomeSchool 68-65 in their previous meeting back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Savannah Classical Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
