The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] in their matchups with Cascade Christian: they've now lost six in a row.
When it comes to explaining why East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] lost, one person who can't be blamed is Keidan Guzman. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four blocks. That's the first time this season that Guzman posted two or more blocks. Aiden Stepanski was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum]'s loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Cascade Christian, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Seattle Christian the next time they take the court. East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] will head out to face Seattle Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Cascade Christian will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
