Despite the loss, Fletcher still got an impressive performance from Marcelis Tate, who rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 236 yards and a touchdown. Trevor Bryan also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Even if they lost, Fletcher's defense still kept up the pressure with six sacks. It was a group effort, with three guys contributing.
First Coast can attribute much of their success to Auston Harris, who rushed for 120 yards and three touchdowns. Rodney Tisdale Jr was another key contributor, throwing for 192 yards and a touchdown while completing 77.3% of his passes.
Fletcher's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for First Coast, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.
