Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wayne). They were the clear victor by a 71-50 margin over the Escalante Moquis on Thursday. Lee wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Wayne was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Escalante only posted seven assists.
Despite the loss, Escalante still got an impressive performance from Rayce Jenkins, who went 9 of 15 on his way to 23 points and five boards. Those 23 points gave Jenkins a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxen Cottam, who posted seven points and seven rebounds.
Wayne is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season.
