On Tuesday, IDEA Montopolis kept a clean sheet against the Austin Achieve Polar Bears. They had just enough and edged the Polar Bears out 1-0. The victory was nothing new for IDEA Montopolis as they're now sitting on four straight.
Their one-goal win came courtesy of
Kevin Suarez, who's now up to four this season.
IDEA Montopolis pushed their record up to 4-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three matchups. As for Austin Achieve, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.
IDEA Montopolis will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against East Austin College Prep at 5:00 p.m. As for Austin Achieve, they will head out on the road to face off against Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Austin Achieve is facing Florence at the right time seeing as Florence is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
