Andrew Lindquist turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Wednesday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He was dominant the last time he took on Highland back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Lindquist also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Skyline is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-9 otherwise.

Lindquist's strong effort led Skyline over Highland and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams are limping into the matchup having lost 21 straight on the road dating back to last season.
