Chapelgate Christian Academy has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Archbishop Curley Friars at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Annapolis Area Christian scored an imposing 56 points on Wednesday, Chapelgate Christian Academy still came out on top. Chapelgate Christian Academy took their match against Annapolis Area Christian 67-56.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chapelgate Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Justin Bishop, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Sabbat, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Randallstown scored an imposing 56 points on Monday, Archbishop Curley still came out on top. Archbishop Curley managed a 62-56 victory over Randallstown.
Chapelgate Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Archbishop Curley, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.
Chapelgate Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 67-41 defeat they got from Archbishop Curley in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Chapelgate Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
