The Tri Titans had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 35-0 win over Knightstown. The result was nothing new for Tri, who have now won six matchups by 31 points or more so far this season.
Tri's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyler Brooks, who rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Another player making a difference was Cameron Boone, who rushed for 99 yards and three touchdowns.
Despite the loss, Knightstown saw an underclassman step up: Jameson Crawford rushed for 110 yards.
Tri's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Knightstown, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Tri will head out on the road to face off against Milan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Milan has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 138 points over their last three matches. Knightstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
