Sean Carroll put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Saturday. He struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits.

Carroll's effort led Putnam Valley over Pawling and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Putnam Valley is 9-1 against Pawling going back to May of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
