Chloe Hickory had a dynamite game For Fairview., dropping a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 boards gave Hickory a new career-high. Rylee Bennett was another key player, putting up 12 points.
Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fairview, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakewood will take on Summit in a tournament on Wednesday. As for Fairview, they will challenge Mountain Vista at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
