The Leonard Lancers lost against the Jupiter Christian Eagles two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Leonard ended up on the wrong side of a tough 34-13 walloping at the hands of the Eagles. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Leonard has scored all season.
Euterria Davis was Leonard's leading scorer, having posted five points.
Jupiter Christian found their leader in underclassman Emilia Edgar, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Norus, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds.
Leonard has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Jupiter Christian, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leonard will take on the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Boynton Beach presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Lancers in Florida (the Tigers are ranked 142nd, while the Lancers are ranked 480th). As for Jupiter Christian, they will be playing at home against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
