Omaha Nation knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matches -- so hopefully the Warriors like a good challenge.
Omaha Nation put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Omaha Christian Academy 72-17 at home.
Omaha Nation's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Desma Walker, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Walker has scored all season. Mikkel Parker was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Meanwhile, Whiting's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against West Harrison, falling 68-40.
Omaha Nation now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Whiting, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Omaha Nation against the Warriors in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 74-31 victory. Will Omaha Nation repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
