Torrance will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Leuzinger at 3:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Torrance found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-28 punch to the gut against Marina last Thursday. Torrance were down by 0-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Leuzinger had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Dominguez last week as they made off with a 36-6 win.
Leuzinger's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Torrance's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Leuzinger can add another positive mark to their record or if Torrance can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Leuzinger's step.
