Softball Recap: Richards Has No Trouble Against Hancock

While Richards put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Hancock. The Bulldogs blew past the Eagles 10-0. Considering the Bulldogs have won 11 games by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Richards and bumps their season record up to 16-9. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Hancock, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Richards didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-2 victory against Shepard on the 12th. As for Hancock, they will welcome Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 13.4 runs per game this season.
