There's no place like home for Southwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Wabash Apaches by a score of 55-44 on Friday. With that victory, the Knights brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.

Bryce Wilcox continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Emery Liddick, who posted 12 points.

Wabash's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of DaVon Osborn, who earned ten points and five rebounds, and Derek Reed, who put up 11 points. Another player making a difference was Eli Mattern, who had seven points.

Southwood's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Wabash, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Southwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 83-47 defeat against Manchester on the 28th. As for Wabash, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 46-38 loss against Northfield on the 28th.
