Metrolina Christian Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Westminster Catawba Christian Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Tuesday, Metrolina Christian Academy lost to SouthLake Christian Academy at home by a decisive 52-35 margin.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was DeAngelo Walker, who scored 8 points. Josiah Rucks was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Meanwhile, Westminster Catawba Christian pushed their score all the way to 61 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 76-61 bruising from Gaston Day. Westminster Catawba Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Charlotte Country Day School's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Metrolina Christian Academy's defeat dropped theirs to 2-2.
Metrolina Christian Academy beat Westminster Catawba Christian 65-56 in their previous meeting back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Metrolina Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
