Mount Pleasant lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Cox Mill, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's contest. The Tigers blew past the Chargers 16-2 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Mount Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Cox Mill, they dropped their record down to 3-17 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Mount Pleasant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cox Mill, they will square off against South Iredell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
