Fulvio Conicelli and Ryan Lightcap provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Woodbury. The longest such play in Colonial - Patriot this season, the connection resulted in 89 yards.
Paulsboro lost to West Deptford 45-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. ZACH HARBESON in the loss.
Gateway Regional's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Conicelli threw for 131 and 89 touchdowns and Lightcap had 117 yards receiving. On the ground Josh Davis chipped in 53 yards. Nathaniel Klaus helped Gateway Regional's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 14 yards.
He was 6-9 with 1 interception.
Davis was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 53 yards on 4 carries as the Gators fell to the Thundering Herd. Teammate Anthony Bayer added to the ground attack by rushing for 28 yards.
Thanks to the talents of JIMMY SCHMIDT and DE'SHAUN BURGESS, Paulsboro has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. SCHMIDT is tops in the league in passing with 392 yards, while BURGESS has rushed for 1,242 yards this season. Gateway Regional's Lightcap leads the league in receiving yards with 439 on 19 catches.
Woodbury led the league in scoring this week by notching 52 points on Stephen Duncan's team.
