The Dunedin Falcons will be playing at home against the Parkview Panthers at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The pair have allowed few  runs on average, (Dunedin: 3.1, Parkview: 2.4) so any  runs scored will be well earned.

 On the hitting side, Dunedin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Aiden Sherifi, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.  Demetri Tsesmelis was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Even though they lost, Dunedin was hitting in the alleys and  finished the game with three  doubles. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as River Ridge only hit  no.
 Meanwhile, Parkview and IMG Academy (ranked tenth and fourth in the MaxPreps national rankings respectively) squared off in a high-profile  match on Tuesday. Parkview came out on top against IMG Academy by a score of  6-3. Winning may never get old, but Parkview sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Parkview also got a great performance from  Thorpe Musci as he  struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits. Musci has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances.  Kason Gleaton came in to relieve  Musci and was airtight, giving up no runs, hits or walks in his two  innings pitched.
 At the plate,  Makhi Buckley and  Adrian Jimenez did most of the damage at the plate:  Buckley  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3, while  Jimenez  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Dunedin's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Parkview, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record  this season.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Thursday as both teams have some strikeout artists on the roster. Dunedin has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 6.9  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Parkview struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 7.6.
